Aquatics

Lifeguards

Applicants must be able to present a current (within 3 years) American Red Cross Lifeguard Training card (or equivalent) and a current (within 1 year) American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer or American Heart Association CPR/AED (Health Care Provider) card. Applicants must pass a water/skills test in order to be hired.

Lifeguard Instructors

Campus Rec teaches lifeguarding classes year round and is interested in qualified individuals to teach. We teach American Red Cross Lifeguarding, individuals applying would need a current American Red Cross Lifeguard instructor certification.

CPR Instructors

Campus Rec offers American Heart Association CPR/AED training to both employees and members. Applicants would need a current instructor certification in Heartsaver AED and/or Healthcare provider instructor certification.

Learn-to-Swim Instructors

Campus Rec is seeking instructors for the learn-to-swim program that is offered each semester and summer. WSI is preferred but is not necessary with prior teaching experience. Our program is American Red Cross based and we can teach instructors to follow Red Cross guidelines if necessary.
