Part-Time EmploymentGraphic DesignPrint DesignThe Student Designer is responsible for the design and production of concepts, comps and final artwork for Marketing Communications projects. Under direct supervision of the Assistant Director-Print Communications, you will work closely with other in-house clients, to create promotional /informational marketing products, and gather the necessary information to develope creative solutions for each project. You will develop creative concepts that meet or exceed Division's expectations and the studio standards of excellence and research images, photos, and illustrations as needed for projects. You will work on multiple projects in print disciplines. You will be responsible for developing and presenting conceptual ideas and executing the final solutions. You must be familiar with production processes and optimization techniques related to pre-press and on-press projects as well. Web/Multimedia DesignCampus Rec is looking for a graphic design student with working knowledge in web design who can work with our professional staff to create navigation, propose architecture and help maintain websites. Other opportunities include documenting our renovation project both with web and print production which may require photography and video as well as design. Work takes place in a Mac environment (currently with a Mac server) and requires working knowledge in Illustrator, Photoshop, Quark Xpress (or InDesign) and DreamweaverMX. Additional knowledge in Final Cut Pro or iMovie and any programming experience (ie. database applications) would be beneficial. This position would require at least 12 hours per week (work study students welcome). Locations for these positions are in the Strata Building in Research Park; parking is available, and 23-West MTD runs every half-hour. Other Positions
