Rental Opportunities

The only Ice Arena in Champaign-Urbana, this facility offers a unique option for skating get-togethers from broomball and hockey to group skating parties. Stop by the Ice Arena to see the facility schedule book and complete a standard university space request. Rental rates are listed below. Contact Dave Bagger for any further questions.

Private Ice Rental Rates

• UI Students/Campus Rec Members: $50/hr* + $7/guest
• UI Departments/Local Schools: $100/hr
• Public Groups/Individual Rentals: $150/hr

* Covers cost of staff & equipment.

Note: These rates do not include staff charges for ice skating parties or skate rentals ($1/individual)—there is no extra charge for broomball or ice hockey.

Private Skating Party Fee Plan

• 20 or less participants: 2 additional staff; $25/hr
• 21-40 participants: 3 additional staff; $38/hr
• 41-75 participants: 5 additional staff; $72/hr
• 76-100 participants: 6 additional staff; $85/hr
• 100 or more participants: 7-8 additional staff; $100/hr

Skate Rental

• $1/per individual
