Learn-to-Skate follows the guidelines of the Ice Skating Institute (ISI) for recreational and competitive skaters. Below you will find the schedule, breakdown of levels, class durations, fees, etc. Students looking for skating course credits should see the University's class listing for Kinesiology (The Learn-to-Skate Program does not offer classes for credit).
Learn-to-Skate Fall 2008
Classes start September 29 and are offered Mondays, Thursdays, or Saturdays for 8 weeks. Registration begins September 2 for UI students and Campus Rec members. For non-members, registration begins on September 8.

Learn-to-Play-Hockey is a great way to build a solid foundation of skill and knowledge of the sport.
Registration and Refunds
Register
To register for either program, complete the registration and waiver form and bring to the UI Ice Arena.
Refunds
Refunds are only given through the first day of class. Refunds will be given, minus a $5 processing fee, and will be prorated for the cost of any classes attended. Refunds can only be processed Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-5 pm.
